What will they do when I’m gone?

That’s the questions asked by anyone who has a loved one with a developmental disability, or other need  for support.

Kitsune is a 501(c)3 nonprofit founded by three families to address independent living challenges and solutions.

Our first community outreach resulted in more questions about support than we had answers for. We worked together to create the Kitsune’s Life Skills Resources list. This is the searchable tool we wish we had when we were raising our kids with disabilities. The database list contains links to government agencies, non-profit groups, and for-profit vendors such as dentists and medical practices which cater to people with disabilities and their caregivers. The database is a completely free resource maintained by Kitsune (a 501c3 charity), charging no fees to use it or to be listed. There is a suggest a resource tool that allows visitors to suggest an organization.
Kitsune, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to providing information to people with disabilities and caregivers. As residents of Frederick County, our initial focus is on Frederick and on Maryland, but we hope our database can help people in the entire region, and ultimately be nationwide. Our longer term goal is to develop a residential housing (apartment) to assist people to live independently, with the help of a resident professional. We are currently seeking funding to achieve this goal.
